Happy Hanukah!

Here is a parody or alteration of the Christmas song "Deck the Halls". I changed it into a Hanukah song and have been having fun with it. Hope you like it. And no offence to my Christmas celebrating readers! :) Happy holidays to all my readers!

Deck the halls with boughs of holly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Tis' the season to be jolly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Don we now our kepas and coats,
Fa la la, la la la, la la la.
Troll the ancient Hanukah songs,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

See the blazing lights before us,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Strike the keys and join the chorus.
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Follow me in merry measure,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
While I tell of Maccabbee adventures,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Fast away evening passes,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Spin the dreidel, have some latkes,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Land a gimel ,eat the whole pot,
Fa la la la la, la la la la
Once you start you'll never stop,
Fa la la la la, la la la la

Eating doughnuts was never so fun,
Fa la la la la, la la la la
And there's 8 days until it's done,
Fa la la la la, la la la la

Sing we joyous, all together,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Hanukah just couldn't get better,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
