Tisha B' Av (9th of Av)

From Saturday to Sunday is the 9th day of the month of Av.This is a very memorable, sad day for us (the Jewish people). Many things happened on this day, many bad things. I can't list them all, but the main thing that we focus on is the destruction of the Temples(both of which were destroyed on this day). This is a day of sobriety and fasting for those who observe it. You see, Jewish holidays are from sunset to sunset, so Tisha B' Av started at sunset.
The Shabbat after this time of fasting and mourning is one of exceptional joy and rejoicing.I think it is a time to rejoice in G-d's mercy and grace that He always ges us throught he hard times, and He always protects and saves us.Halleluyah! All the glory belongs to Him!
