Thoughts of Spring:Blog Party

Click the button for all the fabulous info and wonderful prizes and to link up!! Thanks to Lynette Kraft :)

I am a young lady living in the North East with my family and two dogs. I'm an aspiring photographer and entrepreneur, together, and in my senior year. I love to observe, write, read, listen to music, and spend time with nature and family and friends. I'm shy with others though my family sometimes can't get me to be quiet, and I'm not outgoing but very passionate. I strive to keep following HaShem and live for Him, becoming who He desires me to become.

How would people describe your personality? (If they could only use ONE word.) Are they right?
People would probably describe me, based on experience, as nice,awesome,cool,attractive...oh, one word..oops.. :p I always have trouble answering this question but I suppose the one word would be-gentle. Or ask my mother, she's good at these things.. :p

Be brave – tell us something very random and weird about yourself
I'm random and weird.Oh,specific, did you say? Well, I suppose one thing is that I daydream a lot. But I'm not sure if that's entirely uncommon...

Do you have a strong desire to do something you’ve never done? What is it?
Travel. Or buy without monetary consideration. One and the same I'd say, since money is needed in large supplies for both... :p

Books: Fiction, Non-Fiction, Romance, Biographies, True Stories, Self-Help, Devotional/Study?
Fiction, please, preferably not modern, with an occasional self-help or biography thrown in.

Name one weakness of yours (confession is good for the soul).
I can be a very fearful person-fearful of what others think, of what may or may not occur in the future, of myself and my capabilities or incapabilities-of life... May I add that I only confessed this because I expected to receive compensation (goodness for my soul) and shall be expectantly waiting for it... :p Ah, another confession would be that I am in a contrary mood today..

If you could live anywhere at all (and take all your loved ones with you), where would you go?
Somewhere beautiful. And nearly unpolluted.

What’s something you consider yourself to be good at? (Don’t worry, it’s not bragging, it’s acknowledging a God given gift).
Listening to others and feeling what they feel. I'm working on being more encouraging, which follows :)

Are you a hopeless romantic?
No, I am not. But very susceptible to it. ;)

What movie or book character can you most relate to?
One character I can instantly think of is Eleanor Dashwood of Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility. I've taken several different quizzes several times and I always come out as Eleanor, but I must admit I am quite pleased with this because I naturally extremely relate to her. This is especially noticeable to me when I read the book. :)

I hope you go link up and join the fun!

  1. Good stuff, I always like reading your answer for questions. They're always so good. Hahahaha you are so a hopeless romantic. :P

  2. Cool, I'll hop on over to her blog and check it out! Nice answers! :) I think being fearful is a trait everyone has, you're not alone! :)

  3. Nice to meet you. I used to be more fearful but am learning to just trust ?God. It helps a lot.

  4. Fun to read your Spring Party post, Katherine. As I read as many of these party posts as I can, I'm struck by the number of young women who aspire to be photographers. My daughter, Deb Sandidge, just went from being an amateur to a professional photographer a couple of years ago. With HaShem's help, you can do it too!
    Many blessings!

  5. Great post! You have a amazing blog; I'm following!! :)

    In HIS love and light,
    Jessie Suzanne

  6. I'm just dropping by to look around and say hi with the blog party! "Hello" :)

    I have a sister named Katherine, with a K - lovely name!

  7. Thank you for following my blog! I hope you find it encouraging, refreshing and enjoy a few laughs as I share bits and bobbles of my journeys in life! :)

I appreciate your presence. Feel free to share your opinions and perspectives in good spirit! :)
